A new logo would be a valuable tool in making the JBSC brand stand out in the crowded home building market. In addition, it was essential that the new website capture previously missed business opportunities and increase company visibility.
The logo was designed using a combination of traditional and modern elements that illustrate the human qualities associated with a family owned business like J. Brent Smith Construction. A major company forte is custom-design, which is portrayed in the logo by each piece that makes up the shape of the house. Furthermore, the new brand mark was crafted to invoke the same feelings of warmth, comfort and security that people associate with a home. This was vital in developing an identity that potential clients could connect with trust, reliability and honesty – all important elements when building your home.
In order to develop a website that could be used as a powerful business tool, Kelly MarCom conducted a meta-analysis of JBSC’s competitors. This analysis offered the insight necessary to develop a website that was competitive and conveyed the company’s high quality, custom-oriented building capabilities. Kelly MarCom provided full support and training to JBSC staff so that they could update and maintain the website in-house.
