Objective

New company owners added a more refined look to the furniture collection with the addition of the Coastal line. This line appealed to a broader audience of consumers, departing from the institutions the company predominantly serviced. This End Up wanted to develop a catalog and promotional materials to generate customer excitement of the new line and give this segment of the business its own “feel” that better aligned with largely consumer audiences.

Approach

Kelly MarCom recognized product photography as the most critical element to the success of the catalog. We created the optimal lighting and environment for the photoshoot and took room and product photos that positioned the furniture line to compete with larger National store chains. This was a worthwhile investment of time and resources as it became the central visual for both the catalog and website. Kelly MarCom also developed the website, from design to implementation, featuring an intuitive content management system, an e-commerce system and a virtual room for customers. We created a sales piece using new photography that promotes the company’s site and serves as a “leave behind” at trade shows and other client meetings.

Result

With a limited sales staff to handle new business development, This End Up was invigorated by the results from these new materials. Customers were providing excellent feedback on the new site and user-friendly interface. The virtual room allowed visitors to mix and match furniture in a space prior to buying it, making buying decisions easier. With these resources available sales increased dramatically. This End Up continues to use the look and feel of the new product brand today.
